The following terms and conditions are designed to ensure clarity and protection for all parties involved in your travel arrangements.
1. Our Role as an Intermediary
Bellemare (hereinafter "the Agency") acts exclusively as an intermediary between you (the "Guest") and the accommodation or service provider (the "Partner"). When you book through us, the legal contract for the provision of the stay or service is directly between you and the Partner. The Agency is not responsible for the direct delivery of these services, but we remain your point of contact for the booking process.
2. Booking & Confirmation
Booking Methods: Reservations may be made via "Direct Booking" or "On Request."
Confirmation: A booking is legally binding only once the Partner or the Agency issues a formal Booking Voucher. Please review this document immediately upon receipt; any errors must be reported within 24 hours.

3. Payment Terms
Direct Payment: In accordance with our Agency model, all payments (deposits and final balances) are made directly to the Partner.
Currency & Fees: Payments are due in the currency specified on your invoice. Please note that your bank may charge international transaction fees for which the Agency or Partner is not responsible.

4. Cancellations, Modifications & No-Shows
Partner Policies: Each property has its own specific cancellation and modification policy. By confirming a booking, you agree to the specific terms of that Partner.
Travel Insurance: Bellemare strongly recommends that all Guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to cover potential cancellation fees, medical emergencies, and travel disruptions.

5. Liability
Agency Limitation: The Agency shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or delay resulting from the acts or omissions of the Partner or any third-party service providers.
Property Standards: While we vet our Partners for quality, the Partner is solely responsible for the maintenance, safety, and accuracy of the services provided on-site.

6. Force Majeure & Natural Events
Force Majeure & Natural Events: Neither the Agency nor the Partner shall be liable for failures to perform due to "Force Majeure" events (e.g., cyclones, natural disasters, or government restrictions). In such cases, the Partner's specific policies regarding credits or refunds will apply.
7. Responsible Travel & Ethical Stewardship
Responsible Travel & Ethical Stewardship: Our commitment to animal welfare ensures that we do not support intrusive wildlife interactions; we believe animals should be observed in their natural habitats without interference or exploitation. In the interest of environmental protection, we ask our guests to follow local guidelines and strictly adhere to "no-touch" policies regarding coral reefs and marine life. Furthermore, we advocate for the respect of local cultures, encouraging our guests to engage mindfully with local traditions and community values. By traveling with sensitivity, we ensure that the beauty and integrity of our destinations remain preserved for generations to come.
